2026 Power Summit

Day 1: Tuesday, February 10th

The 2026 Power Summit welcomed energy leaders to The Global Ambassador in Scottsdale, Arizona, for three days of high-level conversations, curated experiences, and meaningful connection. The Summit began with a Grand Opening Reception at Thea, where attendees gathered in a private rooftop setting overlooking Camelback Mountain. Spectacular sunset views, exceptional food, and the energy of the arriving group created a memorable start to the event. The evening offered an opportunity to reconnect, welcome new attendees, and begin the conversations that would continue throughout the Summit.

Day 2: Wednesday, February 11th

The first full day began with breakfast, followed by opening remarks from Power Summit Founder Shannon McGriff and a sponsor message from Stephen King, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Intelometry. The morning opened with The Midterm Effect: Energy Policy Scorecard. Power Summit’s returning policy experts examined the real-world effects of executive orders, agency actions, and congressional gridlock as the country approached the midterm elections. The lively discussion explored which energy policy promises had materialized, which had stalled, and how federal and state regulators were responding to a rapidly evolving political environment. During The Capital Reawakening: Financing America’s New Energy Future, leaders from Mantis Innovation, Environ, and Luxor Technology discussed what attracts investment to customer-facing energy businesses. The conversation explored how investors assess risk, recognize scalable platforms, and evaluate the operational characteristics that support long-term growth. The morning concluded with Leadership Perspectives: What Top Executives Are Betting On. Senior executives from Intelometry, SmartestEnergy, South Bay Energy, and Unified Energy Services shared the strategic bets they were making, the risks that concerned them most, and how they were positioning their organizations to lead through continued industry change. Following lunch, attendees selected from several executive networking experiences, including golf at the Arizona Biltmore, a guided hike of Camelback Mountain, a racing experience, and spa appointments. These activities provided a change of pace while creating space for more personal conversations and deeper relationships outside the meeting room.

Day 3: Thursday, February 12th

The final day began with breakfast and opening remarks from Shannon McGriff and Matt Stasium, Head of Strategic Partnerships and Sales at SmartestEnergy. The program opened with The Power Industry’s Perspective on Supplying the AI Economy. Tracy Ross, Vice President of West Sales at NRG Energy, joined Alex Williams, Vice President of Origination at Guidepost Energy, to discuss how power suppliers are positioning their portfolios, managing risk, and working across the industry to meet the extraordinary demand created by artificial intelligence. In The Price Question: When Does the Energy Market Turn?, panelists examined why energy prices had remained low despite accelerating demand and increasing constraints on the power system. The discussion highlighted the signals that could indicate a market shift and how customers, advisors, and providers should prepare their procurement strategies. The perspective of major energy users took center stage during Inside the Market: What America’s Largest Energy Buyers Need Next. Leaders representing data centers, manufacturing, and other large-load industries discussed changing expectations around reliability, resiliency, flexibility, procurement, and sustainability, along with the solutions they still struggle to find in today’s market. The morning concluded with Nuclear’s Role in Powering the Next Growth Cycle. Colleen Wright, Vice President of New Generation Development at Constellation, joined Charles Hannah and Shannon McGriff for a keynote conversation about nuclear energy’s renewed importance. The session explored the role of clean, firm generation in supporting electrification, AI, industrial growth, and the around-the-clock energy needs of critical industries. That evening, attendees gathered under the stars for the Power Summit Soiree. Set in a serene garden with cocktails, dinner, and fireside conversation, the closing reception celebrated the relationships formed and ideas shared throughout the Summit. This time, our special guest was a friendly camel!

As the 2026 Power Summit concluded, it once again demonstrated the value of bringing influential energy leaders together in an environment designed for honest discussion, memorable experiences, and meaningful connection. Attendees departed Scottsdale with stronger relationships, fresh perspectives, and a clearer view of the opportunities and challenges shaping the next era of the power industry.
